TARGET AUDIENCE Information in this continuing education session is directed towards all school nutrition employees so please share with all schools in your School Food Authority.
COURSE OBJECTIVE This webinar is part of a planned series of monthly ongoing continuing education for North Carolina school nutrition staff to support the School Nutrition professional standards continuing education requirements.  All foodservice establishments including schools have a growing responsibility to ensure that proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed, thereby, safeguarding the health of their customers. This webinar explains best practices for creating a food safety culture that permeates the school nutrition environment.
COURSE CREDIT A certificate will be issued to participants for 1 hour of continuing education.
